At Shishu Niketan 43, there is an equilibrium between the Scholastic and Co Scholastic areas of the Curriculum.

SNPS-43 is committed to Excellence. Performance of our students in the CBSE’s Board Examination is a outcome of the academic excellence the School sustains. Since academic excellence is a key area of focus for the School, apart from examinations, regular classroom tests are conducted to assess students’ preparation and corrective measures are taken accordingly. Individual attention is provided to the students to help them pay attention on their weaknesses and improve their learning.

The Pre-primary Wing comprises of Classes Nursery, KG, I and II. The key focus in these classes is on building a solid foundation, especially in early Reading and Writing Skills, Communication Skills, Social Skills, Problem solving skills and Mathematical skills.

Children are engaged by the Teachers in various collaborative projects, Celebrations, Curricular and Co curricular competitions, Presentations and Theatre for ‘Learning’ which has no boundaries. Encouragement, Enthusiasm, Hard work, are the tools adopted by the Teachers to create a pleasure filled Learning environment.

Smart Classes further make learning fun and improves academic performance.

Evaluation


Students's progress in achieving objectives related to Scholastic and Co-scholastic domain is done through comprehensive evaluation.

Scholastic Areas Of Assessment :
Knowledge and understanding of the facts, concepts, principles of a subject are assessed periodically

  • here are four assessments for all classes in a session. In Term-1 we have Periodic Test 1 - PT1 & Half Yearly and In Term-2 we have PT2 and Final Examination
  • For classes X & XII, Examination in December is treated as their Pre-Board Examination
  • For Classes I to XII we are following CBSE's guidelines The School offers Commerce, Medical & Non-Medical subjects in Classes XI & XII.

Co-Scholastic Areas of Assessment:
